Y-Axis is seeking an HR Generalist for a fully remote role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will assist in designing job descriptions, refining recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

The position involves onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, and managing employee benefits and welfare programs. The role requires handling HR policies, audits (ISO, PCI DSS), and maintaining employment records while supporting retention initiatives and training programs.

• Assists the relevant line manager in designing job descriptions for the vacant role and map the relevant competencies.
• Refine and create processes, bringing in best practices in recruiting, hiring and onboarding, creating efficient measurements for tracking and driving continual improvement.

• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including the Company assets supply and collection. Properly manage termination processes to comply with any local regulatory requirements.

• Process and track absenteeism, recommending actions to improve attendance, while also conducting, recommending, and completing probationary and performance management procedures, including performance improvement plans.
• Manage system updates on all HR-related programs, such as myHR/SuccessFactors, payroll and leave system, etc.
• Identify training needs for business units and individual employees, and facilitate the development of internal and external programs and training initiatives to support employee success.
