The GMP Group is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead day-to-day HR operations, manage the employee lifecycle, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will partner with the HRBP to implement people strategies, drive end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and maintain accurate HR records.
Responsibilities include managing employee relations, performance cycles, compensation processes and HR reporting, while coordinating with heads of departments to align with business needs.
Manage and ensure effective delivery of day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle processes and employee relations while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable employment requirements.
Partner with the HR Business Partner to translate approved people strategies and organizational initiatives into consistent and effective HR execution.
Manage end-to-end recruitment activities based on approved manpower requirements.
Coordinate candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, hiring documentation, onboarding and induction.
Ensure recruitment and employment documentation is complete, accurate and properly maintained.
Maintain updated Job Descriptions and employee documentation in coordination with the HRBP and respective HODs.
Manage employee HR transactions throughout the employment lifecycle, including confirmation, transfer, promotion, resignation, termination and other employee movements.
Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, organization charts, employee directory and HR databases. Coordinate offboarding, clearance and exit administration and ensure timely HR documentation.
Manage day-to-day employee relations matters, employee enquiries and workplace issues.
Facilitate disciplinary and grievance processes in accordance with established company procedures.
Conduct or coordinate documentation and fact-finding for employee cases and support managers in consistent and fair case handling.
Promote a professional, respectful and positive working environment.
Escalate complex, sensitive or material employee relations matters through the HRBP and/or CFO in accordance with established governance channels.
Administer and maintain approved HR policies, SOPs and procedures.
Ensure HR operations comply with applicable employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
Maintain proper HR documentation, records and audit trails and coordinate compliance requirements with relevant functions.
Identify operational HR process gaps and recommend improvements.
Coordinate administration of performance management cycles, documentation, timelines and completion tracking.
Coordinate approved training, employee development and engagement activities.
Administer approved compensation and benefits processes, salary-review documentation and employee remuneration records.
Provide accurate HR inputs and employee information to Finance for payroll, benefits and manpower-cost purposes.
Maintain HR systems, employee databases and HR records and ensure information is complete, accurate and current.
Prepare regular HR operational reports and management information.
Provide workforce data required by the HRBP, Management and HODs.
Support HR system/process improvements and digitalisation initiatives.
Provide first-level HR support and guidance to employees and managers within approved policies and procedures.
Accurate and timely HR records, employee data and operational reporting.

Degree in HR or equivalent
5-6 years of experience in Construction, IT solutions (project-based), EPCC, or solar (project-based) industry
Able to build and manage annual manpower budgets, beyond merely processing recruitment requests.
Able to calculate the true employment cost of each hire and assess it against budget and project economics.
Able to analyze and discuss headcount costs against revenue, GP, margin and resource utilization.
