Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an experienced HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations and performance management. You will work with management and project teams to provide robust HR support for both office staff and project site personnel.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and adaptable, contributing to HR initiatives that support business growth, workforce planning, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM/BA required.
• Experience in payroll, recruitment, employee relations and HR administration.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labour regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, multi-tasking, deadline-driven and confidential.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, and engagement.
• Oversee monthly payroll administration and ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Ensure HR policies are compliant with labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Manage employee lifecycle: hiring, confirmation, promotion, transfer, resignation, and exit processes.
• Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters.
• Coordinate performance appraisals and support talent development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies and efficiency.
• Support management in implementing HR initiatives and organizational development.
