Job summary

Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu is seeking a people-centric Senior Human Resources Executive to join our Human Resources Division. You will handle HR administration, payroll, benefits, and ensure policy compliance.

Responsibilities include recruitment/onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, policy development, and engagement initiatives to support growth and retention. Fluency in English and local dialects is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and local dialects; Mandarin or other languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, payroll and benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor laws and policies.
• Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
• Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and promote positive working relationships.
• Training and Development: Coordinate programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
• Performance Management: Support evaluation processes and improvement initiatives.
• HR Policies and Procedures: Help develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Employee Engagement and Retention: Develop initiatives to improve engagement and retention.
