Job summary

Shangri-La Rasa Ria Kota Kinabalu is seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager for our Food & Beverage Service Division. The role oversees daily operations, leads the team, and ensures exceptional guest service and product quality in a 5-star setting.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years in F&B, strong leadership, and excellent English communication, with a focus on upselling, service standards, and adherence to safety and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in F&B operations, preferably in a 5-star hotel.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage the restaurant independently.
• Good guest engagement and confident handling of complaints.
• Solid knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Good food and beverage knowledge with upselling skills.
• Able to lead, train and motivate the team.
• Understand revenue, cost control and basic P&L.
• Able to manage manpower, roster and daily operations.
• Comply with Shangri-La’s food safety, hygiene and SOPs.
• Good English communication skills.

We're looking for an Assistant Outlet Manager or aspiring to be, required for our Food & Beverage Service Division.

Job Summary

The Assistant Outlet Manager is responsible for the daily operation and overall performance of the assigned outlet. The role includes managing the team, ensuring excellent guest service and product quality, delegating duties effectively, and ensuring smooth F&B operations. He/she is also responsible for ensuring all hotel procedures, food safety requirements, rules and regulations are consistently followed in line with Shangri-La standards and policies.

Job Requirement
