Job summary

Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Human Resources Executive to join the HR team in Kota Kinabalu District, Sabah. This full-time role reports to the HR Manager and focuses on delivering high-quality HR services to enhance employee engagement, compliance, and organisational development.

The candidate will manage recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and policy implementation while ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment regulations and maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–5 years of HR experience in a management or supervisory capacity
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact with employees at all levels
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and payroll administration
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
• Mandarin communication ability with female staff

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and onboarding of new employees
• Administer employee relations: contracts, leave, and disciplinary procedures
• Provide HR advisory services to management and staff on policies and employment matters
• Develop and implement HR policies aligned with legal requirements
• Maintain personnel records and HR databases with accuracy
• Assist with training needs analysis and coordinate staff development
• Support payroll administration and benefits management
• Handle employee inquiries and HR-related issues
• Contribute to HR projects to improve organizational effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws
