Job summary

MYWave SDN. BHD. is looking for an HR Executive to support daily HR generalist functions and employee administration in Malaysia.

You will help manage welfare, recruitment, training, and HR communications, while supporting budgeting, manpower planning, and leave management. The role requires 4–6 years of HR generalist experience, good understanding of Malaysian HR practices, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently across multiple HR activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant HR generalist experience.
• Good knowledge of HR operations and Malaysian employment practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple HR activities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR generalist functions and employee administration.
• Assist in employee welfare activities and HR communications.
• Support manpower planning and budgeting tasks.
• Coordinate recruitment activities from sourcing to onboarding.
• Coordinate training programmes and maintain records.
• Provide payroll updates for employee movements (no payroll processing).
• Develop and communicate HR policies and processes.
• Monitor and administer leave and attendance records.
• Coordinate office administration and facilities.

Job description

To support and manage day‑to‑day HR generalist functions, employee welfare, manpower planning, recruitment, training, HR policies and employee administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Welfare & Engagement – Manage employee activities, pantry, insurance, Long Service Award, performance review forms and HR communications.

HR Budgeting – Assist in preparing, monitoring and managing HR‑related budgets and expenses.

Manpower Planning – Coordinate manpower requirements, headcount planning and manpower requisitions.

Recruitment – Manage recruitment activities from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding.

Training – Coordinate training needs, programmes, records and training budget.

Payroll Updates – Provide timely updates on employee movements such as new joiners, resignations, transfers, promotions and salary changes. No payroll processing required.

HR Policies & Processes – Develop, review, implement and communicate HR policies, procedures and processes.

Leave Management – Monitor and administer employee leave and attendance records.

Office Administration – Coordinate office upkeep, pantry supplies, facilities and workplace‑related matters.

HR Support – Provide general HR advice and support to employees, managers and management.

Requirement:

Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

4–6 years of relevant HR generalist experience.

Good knowledge of HR operations and Malaysian employment practices.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good organisational and problem‑solving skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple HR activities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
