PLAYA Racquet Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Senior HR Executive to support and manage our human resources operations. This role is ideal for someone who is well-versed in labour laws, confident in handling end-to-end payroll, and passionate about building strong HR processes in a growing organisation.
Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies
Draft, review, and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, SOPs, and other HR documentation
Administer employee leave, attendance, benefits, and statutory submissions
Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, performance management, and grievance handling
Support employee engagement initiatives, training, and HR development programs
Prepare HR reports, analyse workforce data, and provide HR support to management
Continuously review and improve HR processes to support the company's growth and operational efficiency
Diploma or Degree in HR, Business Admin, related field, or proven experience
2–4 years of HR experience; ideally in a standalone or small-team HR role
Solid grasp of Malaysian labour law and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDCorp)
Comfortable working independently and making day-to-day HR calls without escalating everything
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with any payroll or HRMS system is a plus
Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin is an advantage
Discreet, organised, and takes ownership
