We are looking for a competent, hands-on Senior HR Executive who is able to take ownership of HR operations and deliver results, not someone who only performs routine administrative tasks.
Lead and manage the talent acquisition process including advertising job openings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews with respective HODs, and recommending suitable candidates to Management.
Develop, review, and update Job Descriptions for various roles within the company.
Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation and ensuring proper integration into the organization.
Assess training and development needs and coordinate with the company trainer to implement appropriate training programs for employees.
Maintain and ensure proper documentation of employee personal files and HR records in compliance with company requirements.
Review and propose employee benefits packages to Management in line with company policies and industry practices.
Coordinate and administer the annual employee performance appraisal process.
Oversee and support the daily operations of the HR department to ensure smooth and efficient HR administration.
Ensure employees' compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Liaise with the relevant departments to coordinate regular drug testing for employees.
Conduct random spot checks on employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure accuracy and timely processing of payroll as well as statutory contributions and payments.
Monitor employees' daily attendance and address any irregularities accordingly.
Manage employee relations matters including counselling, disciplinary actions, termination processes, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
Liaise with the company's insurance agent on matters relating to Group Personal Accident insurance and claims.
Assist Management in implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support organizational objectives.
Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience in a hands-on generalist role.
Strong understanding of HR processes, employment regulations and workplace discipline.
Highly organised, proactive and able to handle multiple tasks independently.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Strong sense of accountability, efficiency and attention to detail.
This role requires someone who is hands-on, proactive and solution oriented. Candidates who prefer a purely administrative HR role or slow-paced work environment may not find this position suitable.
