Job summary

Tadau Energy Sdn Bhd invites an HR professional to join our team in Malaysia to lead HR strategy, recruitment, payroll, benefits, and admin operations. You will drive performance, manage engagement and training, and support the Chief Corporate Officer with compensation surveys and policy guidance.

The role focuses on building a strong human capital function, ensuring cost stability, energy independence, and environmental stewardship through effective HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business strategy.
• Manage recruitment and selection processes.
• Support business needs through development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
• Oversee the HR department and payroll administration.
• Drive performance appraisal system to promote high performance.
• Administer monthly payroll and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Manage employee benefits, health insurance, leave, and related programs.
• Handle annual HR and admin budget reporting.
• Lead compensation salary and benefit surveys and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
• Evaluate training needs and make recommendations to improve capabilities.
• Oversee employee engagement, onboarding for new hires, and exit processes.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure smooth operation of all administrative functions.
• Review and verify employee expenses for accuracy.

Job description

Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Managing the recruitment and selection process.

Supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

Managing and overseeing the HR department.

Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

Manage and administer the monthly full payroll computation, and be familiar with local statutory requirements.

Administrating employee benefits such as health insurance, medical, leave, and others.

Handle the annual HR and admin budget reporting.

Take the lead in compensation salary and benefit surveys, analyse data, and provide support to the Chief Corporate Officer.

Evaluate the need for employee training and development and make recommendations.

Handle and manage all employee’s engagement, manage the new hire orientation and exit process.

Provide guidance and support to all employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Ensure the smooth operation of all administrative functions.

Reviewing and verifying employee expenses to ensure the expenses are submitted in order and with accuracy.
