You will handle end-to-end HR functions, ensure timely payroll processing, manage recruitment and onboarding, maintain HR records, and support work permit and foreign worker documentation, with strong communication and confidentiality.
Joland Group are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR Executive to oversee the full spectrum of HR functions across our F&B outlets and businesses at Grand Paragon Hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in payroll, recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, HR administration, and foreign worker matters.
Handle the full spectrum of HR functions for various F&B outlets/businesses in Grand Paragon Hotel.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with statutory requirements.
Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, from manpower requirements and candidate sourcing to screening, interview coordination, selection, and onboarding.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of relevant statutory forms and notifications to LHDN, including monitoring employees’ tax-related matters and maintaining proper records.
Manage performers’ commission tracking, calculation, reconciliation, reporting, and payment processing on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Manage staff medical claims in accordance with Company policies, including liaising with panel clinics and maintaining accurate records of medical claims.
Monitor employees’ probation and contract periods, ensuring timely confirmation and contract renewal, including Contract for Service arrangements.
Support work permit applications for performers from China, including the preparation, coordination, and submission of required supporting documents.
Manage staff hostel and accommodation administration, including maintaining updated resident lists and monitoring utility expenses and other related costs.
Handle employee disciplinary matters, grievances, poor performance, and conduct Domestic Inquiry (DI) when required.
Maintain accurate HR records, compile HR data, and prepare periodic HR reports.
Coordinate and administer HRD Corp-related training programmes and training needs, including identifying training requirements, coordinating training arrangements, and managing the necessary documentation and claims.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by the Immediate Superior or Management.
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant HR experience; experience in the hotel, hospitality, or F&B industry will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
Familiar with payroll processing, HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, and foreign worker/expatriate matters.
Experience dealing with the Immigration Department and foreign worker documentation is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with employees at all levels.
Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple F&B outlets and HR matters simultaneously.
Able to work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
