Job summary

AMD is seeking a Staff-level HR compliance expert for SEA countries to lead compliance execution, governance, and regulatory implementations across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand and Indonesia.

You will partner with Legal, HRBPs, Payroll, and Finance to ensure compliant employee lifecycle processes, accurate documentation, and scalable operations while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of employment-law compliance requirements and their application to HR operations.
• Compliance monitoring, control design, audit readiness, and evidence management.
• Policy and process implementation, statutory documentation, and employee lifecycle controls.
• Risk identification, root‑cause analysis, remediation tracking, and escalation judgment.
• Knowledge of implementing AI to assist work while validating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance execution with monitoring of regulatory updates and policy changes.
• Coordinate statutory requirements and documentation across SEA countries.
• Manage audits, dashboards, and governance updates with clear ownership and actions.
• Drive change management, awareness, and readiness activities across stakeholders.
• Provide operational guidance and simplified explanations of compliance requirements.
