Talent Recruit is representing a financial services company expanding into the fitness sector in Malaysia. We are seeking an HR Admin Assistant Manager to lead the HR and admin functions with a proactive, strategic mindset in a fast-paced environment.

The role covers HR strategy, payroll processing for 20+ headcount using XERO, recruitment and onboarding, staff benefits and welfare, office administration, and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in senior or managerial HR roles.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Proven ability to act as a change agent, demonstrate innovation, self-motivation, creativity, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• HR Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
• Payroll Processing: 20 headcounts - XERO; process payroll, calculate wages, manage leave, overtime, and tax returns.
• Staff Scheduling: Assist roster adjustments to meet minimum operational requirements.
• Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment, phone screening, interviews, references, and pre-employment steps.
• Staff Benefits and Welfare Management: Manage medical claims, insurance matters, and benefits records for staff.
• Office Administrative Role: Handle facilities, assets, travel bookings, and liaise with service providers.
• Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster positive work environment, address grievances, support management on ER issues.
