Job summary

Hotel Royal Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Operations Manager reporting to the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, coordinating Rooms Division, Housekeeping, F&B, Security and Maintenance to ensure smooth, safe, and high-standard service.

You will optimize performance, lead a diverse team, manage costs, and work with department heads to resolve issues and enhance guest experience while maintaining SOPs and local compliance.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hotel operations experience, preferably in a 4- or 5-star property.
• Experience coordinating Rooms Division, Housekeeping, F&B, Security and Maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective management.
• Supervise and coordinate all key operational departments, including Rooms Division, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, and Maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, safety, and hotel presentation.
• Monitor departmental performance, operational costs, manpower planning, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, safety regulations, and local requirements.
• Work closely with department heads to resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.
• Handle guest complaints and operational challenges professionally and promptly.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, control costs, and enhance the overall guest experience.
