Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, invites an experienced Hotel Manager to join its executive team. Based at the KL property, you will deputize for the General Manager and steer day-to-day hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences, staff engagement, and operational profitability.

The role requires 8–10 years in hotel operations, a related degree, and a proven track record in senior leadership within luxury hotels.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with leadership or senior management.
Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Hotel Management or related discipline.
Experience as Hotel Manager / Director of Operations or equivalent in luxury/upscale hotels preferred.
Strong knowledge across Rooms, F&B, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other ops.
Proven ability to manage budgets, costs, productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities

As Hotel Manager, deputize for the General Manager and lead day-to-day hotel operations.
Provide leadership to operational teams to ensure guest experiences, engagement, efficiency and profitability.
Ensure exceptional guest experiences, manage guest complaints, and oversee guest correspondence.
Maintain high visibility with customers and staff during peak times and daily operations.
Collaborate with General Manager to identify and address staff needs and potential problems.
