Job summary

Dimerco Express (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to drive revenue in Malaysia's freight and logistics market. You will target new customers, promote end-to-end logistics services, and collaborate across departments to deliver tailored solutions.

The role requires 2–3 years in forwarding/transportation, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years working experience in related field (forwarding/transportation/freight industry).
• Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma/Advance/Higher/Graduate in Diploma in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• Have good and positive attitude, detail-orientated.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Knowledge in resolving customer complaints efficiently.
• Able to work independently and in team & able to work under pressure in a fast moving environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• To meet and exceed sales target set for individual and achieve maximum sales;
• To research and seek out prospects to build portfolio of clients;
• Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution;
• Represent the company in negotiating and building relationship with shippers and carriers;
• Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships;
• To establish and maintain good relationship with customers, Dimerco stations, alliances and business partners;
• To co-ordinate with other departments for maximization of resources, facilities, productivity, service efficiency & minimize cost through team work;
• Attend and participate in sales meetings, trainings and trade shows;
• To undertake other assignment from the Management.
