Job summary

Mission Consultancy Services Sdn Bhd, based in Malaysia, seeks a careful finance operations professional to manage day-to-day accounts and keep office operations running smoothly. You will collaborate with the finance team, other departments, suppliers and external partners to ensure records are accurate and compliant.

Key responsibilities include handling invoices, payments, reconciliations, SST/EPF/SOCSO/LHDN compliance, audits support, procurement docs, and month-end closing.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance operations, accounts, or admin and finance work.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience with accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, SQL Account, AutoCount, SAP or Oracle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
• Attention to detail, accuracy with numbers, time management and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, payment requests, staff expense claims and inter-company transfers on schedule.
• Prepare bank transfer requests and routine banking tasks.
• Issue invoices and track customer billing, following up on overdue payments.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, gateways and petty cash.
• Maintain financial records, contracts and tax invoices in line with SST, EPF, SOCSO and LHDN.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules, receipts and reports.
• Handle procurement paperwork, purchase orders and supplier onboarding.
• Coordinate with suppliers, landlords, utilities and service providers.
• Support month-end closing and data entry into the accounting system.
