Job summary

Shopee Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to ensure timely processing of accounting transactions and accurate month-end closing. You will review reconciliations, coordinate with Business/Operations and HQ finance to set up processes, and deliver insightful financial reporting to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in finance / accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience.
• Big 4 audit experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely processing of accounting transactions with high accuracy.
• Review reconciliations and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve differences.
• Lead month-end closing and ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare meaningful financial analysis and reporting for management.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Identify process improvements using technology/automation.
