Job summary

FOZ One Sdn Bhd is a Johor-based contract manufacturer seeking a Senior Finance Executive to manage full-set accounting, monthly and annual reporting, and liaison with banks, auditors, and government bodies. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance and driving improvements across finance systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, professional credentials, and at least 3 years of corporate accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA, MIA, CIA or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in corporate accounting or finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-set accounting and prepare monthly management reports and yearly budgets.
• Maintain accounting systems and drive process improvements.
• Assist during financial audits and provide analysis to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor daily transactions, bank deposits/payments, and identify irregularities in ledgers.
• Ensure SST submissions and regulatory payments are timely.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, government officers, and external partners.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff; participate in ad hoc projects.

About the Role

The Senior Finance Executive is responsible for analyzing everyday financial activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable and preparation of full set of accounts as well as management reports. He/She will handle day to day operations, liaise with bankers, auditors, government officers and any other parties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Full‑Set Accounting: Oversee and prepare accurate monthly financial reports, management reports, and yearly budgets.

Systems & Process Optimization: Maintain and manage our accounting system while proactively identifying and implementing process improvements.

Audit & Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to resolve discrepancies, and act as a primary support liaison during financial audits.

Operations & Compliance

Transaction Monitoring: Oversee daily transactions, monitor bank deposits/payments, and accurately identify irregularities in invoices or ledgers.

Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate SST submissions and ensure all regulatory payments are completed within deadlines.

Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise professionally with external parties, including bankers, auditors, and government officials.

Leadership & Support

Team Guidance: Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior finance team members to maintain high quality and accuracy.

Ad‑Hoc Projects: Support management with special accounting projects and ad‑hoc financial tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Professional Credentials: Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA, MIA, CIA, or equivalent) is highly advantageous.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in a similar corporate accounting or finance capacity.

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of current financial regulations, local taxation laws, and statutory compliance requirements.
