Job summary

FOZ One Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Development Executive (fresh grads welcome) to manage RFQs, prepare quotations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing. The role emphasizes costing accuracy, supplier pricing, and strong communication with internal stakeholders.

You will collaborate with NPI, SCM, Engineering, Tooling, and Production teams, support ISO audits, and act as the primary customer service window to ensure timely and professional

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end RFQ activities, including quotation preparation and submission.
• Maintain RFQ tracking database and costing breakdowns.
• Prepare cost estimates for tooling refurbishment, insert fabrication, rework, sorting, sample builds and calculations.
• Collect and maintain material pricing and procurement information (lead times, MOQs) for RFQ support.
• Coordinate with Process Engineers to obtain latest Final Tool Approvals (FTA) for RFQ.
• Collaborate with NPI, SCM, Engineering, Tooling, and Production to ensure accurate costing inputs.
• Support BCMS and ISO audit activities and act as the customer service window.

About the Role

A Business Development Executive will be primarily responsible for managing RFQs and preparing quotations, maintaining accurate costing and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support and complete customer RFQ and ensure pricing are competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end RFQ activities, including quotation preparation, submission, and maintaining the RFQ tracking database.

Prepare, update, and maintain Costing Breakdowns and the Master Price List.

Prepare cost estimates for tooling refurbishment, insert fabrication, rework, sorting, sample builds, and engineering calculations.

Request, collect, and maintain up-to-date material pricing and procurement information (including lead times and MOQs) to support RFQ activities.

Request and consolidate demand forecasts to establish an integrated overview

Coordinate with Process Engineers to request, collect, and maintain the latest Final Tool Approval (FTA) lists and related documentation for RFQ purposes.

Collaborate with NPI, SCM, Engineering, Tooling, and Production teams to ensure timely alignment and accurate costing inputs.

Participate in BCMS and ISO audit activities, ensuring full compliance with relevant company procedures.

Act as the primary Customer Service / Customer Window, handling customer inquiries, communications, and follow-ups to ensure a responsive and professional point of contact.

Participate in project bidding activities, including preparation and submission of bid proposals and supporting documentation.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualification & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Fresh graduates with internship experience, or 1 year’s experience in costing, finance, or a manufacturing environment, is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data accuracy.

Able to collaborate and work well with other functional teams for business success.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with costing or ERP systems is an advantage.
