Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist the Manager and Head of Project in delivering projects on time and within policy. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams, monitor progress, and support budgeting, procurement, and reporting activities.
The role requires a Diploma/Degree in civil or project management fields and at least 3 years’ hands-on experience in property, project development, and construction, with proficiency
To assist Manager and Head of Project in managing the project to complete the task (progress report, costing, and other paperwork) within target time and follow MRCB’s policy and guideline
Work with other inter‑department teams to obtain information, clearance and sharing the necessary information in completing the task.
Coordinate with consultants to monitor the project’s progress within the target timeline
Responsible to report any issue and update the overall planning, progress, and issues to Manager/Head of Project
Liaise closely with contractors/sub‑contractors/vendors for any necessary information/document needed for the project
Attend to site evaluation, measurements, complaints and inspections
Have own record and file for all the correspondences
Attend client consultant, technical and site progress meetings
Assist in monitoring project cost and timeline of contractors/sub‑contractors/vendors
Prepare and update MRCB monthly reports
Assist in tracking and preparing the Consultants/Vendors progress billing and interim payment
Assist Project Manager in preparing the project budget, procurement report, appointment of consultants/vendors, management paper, presentation, etc.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Diploma/Degree in Civil/Project Management/Structural Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years hands‑on experience in property, project development, and construction. Preferably experienced with an ISO‑certified company
Involved from conceptual design stage until handover of the project
Experience dealing and coordination with company’s design, procurement & contract, legal, administration departments
Familiar with and experienced in monitoring construction programs, progress and coordinating consultants and contractors for the site works
Experience in dealing with local authorities for any submission for approval related to property development & construction
Familiar with Microsoft office applications and Google Workspace.
Possess good attitude and communication skills in liaising effectively with consultants/contractors/vendors
Exposed with Feasibility Study or Preliminaries stage of project is an advantage
Willing to relocate.
