  • Experience in campaign planning, pricing and promotional execution is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify business opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good understanding of e-commerce KPIs including Sales Revenue, Conversion Rate, AOV, Sell-through, Inventory Health and Gross Margin.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned product categories and brand portfolios to achieve sales, conversion and profitability targets.
  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance and recommend actions to improve results.
  • Analyse product performance, customer purchasing behaviour and market trends to identify opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain an optimal product assortment based on demand, sales performance and inventory availability.
  • Plan and optimise product placement, category structure and merchandising strategies across platforms.
  • Collaborate with Content Creator and Product Listing Executive to ensure accurate, attractive, conversion-focused pages.
  • Support pricing reviews and promotional planning to maximise sales while maintaining healthy margins.
  • Coordinate promotional mechanics, product bundles and campaign offers with Brand Operations Lead.
  • Monitor inventory health and collaborate with Supply Chain to minimise stock shortages.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and category performance analysis.

Job description

The E-commerce Merchandiser is responsible for managing the commercial performance of assigned product categories and brand portfolios across all e-commerce platforms. This role focuses on assortment planning, online merchandising, campaign execution and category performance to drive sales growth, improve customer experience and maximize business profitability.

1. Category & Commercial Performance

Manage assigned product categories and brand portfolios to achieve sales, conversion and profitability
targets.

Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance and recommend actions to improve commercial
results.

Analyse product performance, customer purchasing behaviour and market trends io identify business
opportunities.

2. Assortment Planning

Develop and maintain an optimal product assortment based on customer demand, sales performance and
inventory availability.

Review product lifecycle performance and recommend new product introductions, product rationalisation
or discontinuation.

Ensure the right product mix is available to support seasonal campaigns and business objectives.

Plan and optimise product placement, category structure and merchandising strategies across e-commerce
platforms.

Work ciosely with the Content Creator and Product Listing Executive to ensure product pages are accurate,
attractive and conversion-focused.

Recommend improvements to product presentation to enhance customer shopping experience.

4. Pricing & Promotional Support

Support pricing reviews and promotional planning to maximise sales while maintaining healthy profit
margins.

Coordinate promotional mechanics, product bundies and campaign offers with the Brand Operations Lead.

Monitor competitor pricing and recommend pricing adjustments where appropriate.

5. Campaign Planning & Execution

Support the planning and execution of marketplace campaigns, mega campaigns, seasonal promotions and
new product launches.

Ensure campaign readiness through accurate product assortment, pricing and inventory planning.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful campaign execution.

6. Inventory Management

Monitor stock availability, inventory health and sell-through performance.

Work closely with Supply Chain and Inventory teams to minimise stock shortages and excess inventory.

Support demand planning and replenishment planning for promotional activities.

Prepare regular sales reports and category performance analysis.

Monitor key commercial KPls including Sales Revenue, Conversion Rate, Average Order Value (AOV), Sell-
through Rate and Inventory Health.

Provide recommendations to improve category performance and business growth.

8. Market & Competitor Analysis

Conduct competitor benchmarking on product assortment, pricing, promotions and merchandising
strategies.

Monitor industry trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth.

9. Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with Brand Operations, Performance & Analytics, Content Creator, Product Listing,
CRM, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth execution of commercial initiatives.

Support product launches and campaign activities through effective coordination across departments.

Recommend process improvements te enhance merchandising effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Support initiatives that improve customer experience, sales performance and business productivity.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or a related discipline.
