This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of fashion, data, and commerce; someone who can spot a trend, build a business case, and execute with precision.

You will be expected to bring a holistic, business-wide perspective, identifying opportunities not just within your own portfolio but collaboratively across the broader team. Success at this level is defined not only by commercial results, but by the quality of your brand relationships, the strength of your analytical thinking, and your ability to drive continuous improvement across every part of the buying cycle.

Responsibilities:
Brand Relationships & Strategic Partnership
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key brand partners and suppliers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your brand portfolio, supporting their business needs on the platform

  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to assess assortment gaps, identify opportunities for brand exclusives, and surface ideas for content, acquisition, and sales-driving initiatives
  • Ensure new arrivals cadence is consistent and that the range reflects both seasonal demand and customer preferences
  • Work closely with the merchandising and planning teams to ensure range decisions are commercially sound and aligned to stock and intake targets
Commercial Negotiation & Performance
  • Support all facets of contract negotiations with new and existing brands and suppliers
  • Manage brand performance across key commercial metrics including NMV, intake margin, trading margin, sell-through, stock turn, and delivery performance
  • Identify and act on promotional and marketing opportunities to drive incremental sales and deliver a competitive, exciting retail environment for the customer
  • Own profitability within your portfolio, driving improvements through better commercial structures and disciplined in-season management
Campaign Execution & Marketing Integration
  • Align brand partners to ZALORA's trading and marketing calendar, ensuring full participation in key campaigns and seasonal events
  • Work closely with internal marketing, content, and trading teams to ensure partners are properly integrated and campaign-ready
  • Oversee campaign readiness including deal mechanics, stock availability, and hero product selection
  • Run thorough post-campaign performance analysis and share clear, actionable findings with internal and external stakeholders
Data, Reporting & Trading Analysis
  • Monitor sales performance continuously and identify opportunities for improvement across your portfolio
  • Track and analyze key metrics including NMV, conversion, AOV, traffic, and size availability
  • Conduct in-season and end-of-season SWOT analyses and present clear, concise strategy reviews to senior management
  • Develop and execute corrective action plans in response to performance trends and market shifts
  • Regularly consume market research data to spot new business opportunities and inform range and commercial decisions
  • Produce accurate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management visibility
Catalogue & Operational Excellence
  • Regularly review brand catalogues to ensure assortment is competitive, demand-appropriate, and aligned to customer needs
  • Ensure all product content meets ZALORA's quality guidelines - coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues promptly
  • Identify and accelerate operational issues that impact brand or customer performance
Team Development
  • Support and mentor junior buyers and team members, sharing knowledge on best practices across the buying cycle, tools, and processes
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture where learnings are shared and wins are celebratedDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Requirements:
