Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and timely submission of financial results.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with business and operational teams. Develop financial projections, monitor business performance against approved budgets, identify key financial risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to support effective decision-making.
  • Manage and coordinate the statutory audit process, including liaising with external auditors, ensuring timely preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation, and resolving audit matters.
  • Oversee corporate taxation and other statutory requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and reporting deadlines while identifying opportunities to optimise the organisation's tax position.
  • Prepare financial reports, management dashboards, performance analysis, and financial presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Strengthen financial controls, policies, processes, and governance frameworks to safeguard company assets, improve operational efficiency, and mitigate financial and business risks.
