Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced finance leader to manage daily operations, including GL, financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance. You will lead month-end and year-end processes, analyze performance, and drive internal controls across a multinational environment.

The role requires 7–10 years of finance/accounting experience with 3–5 years in supervision, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and SAP experience; ACCA/CPA/CIMA is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of finance/accounting experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Multinational company (MNC) environment experience required.
• ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or CIMA advantageous.
• ERP SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance operations including General Ledger (GL), financial reporting, audit and tax activities.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance and timely completion of financial records.
• Analyse financial performance, budget variances and operational trends to support management decisions.
• Manage internal controls, compliance processes and financial governance.
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
• Oversee tax compliance activities and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and relevant authorities.
• Support financial analysis for business projects, CAPEX evaluation and investment decisions.
• Review cost performance, profitability and provide recommendations for business improvement.
• Lead and develop finance team members while collaborating with regional/global stakeholders.
• Support finance system improvements and process enhancement initiatives.
