We’re thrilled to be hiring a Senior Executive – Fit Out at Paradigm Mall PJ! This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who will coordinate and monitor tenant fit‑out works to ensure smooth outlet openings within the agreed Leasing timeline. You’ll work closely with tenants, consultants and internal teams to ensure compliance with the mall’s fit‑out guidelines, while also reviewing outlet design concepts to ensure they align with the overall mall environment.
Design Review & Store Planning: Evaluate and approve tenant architectural, MEP, and concept submissions to ensure strict compliance with mall design criteria, technical guidelines, and retail presentation standards.
Fit‑Out Coordination & Delivery: Manage end‑to‑end fit‑out coordination between tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless site handovers, utility tapping, and on‑schedule store openings.
Site Supervision & Quality Compliance: Conduct routine on‑site inspections to enforce workmanship standards, statutory safety regulations (UBBL and Bomba), and strict execution according to approved drawings.
Mall Master Layouts & Feasibility Planning: Maintain and update master tenancy plans in AutoCAD while generating space feasibility studies, unit subdivisions, and test‑fit layouts for the Leasing team.
Reporting & Issue Management: Track fit‑out project schedules against target opening milestones, proactively resolving site disputes, delays, and critical technical bottlenecks.
Procurement & Financial Administration: Initiate, track, and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and service work orders for departmental fit‑out works, landlord provisions, consultancy fees, and site rectification contracts.
Perform ad‑hoc duties as and when is required.
Any other projects as assigned by superior.
Bachelor's degree / diploma in Interior Design or Architecture or equivalent.
3 to 5 years working experience in interior design or fit‑out department in retail or shopping mall.
High proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Project/Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite; strong ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP schematics.
Familiarity with Malaysian Uniform Building By‑Laws (UBBL), Bomba fire safety regulations, and shopping mall fit‑out procedures.
Strong cross‑functional coordination, assertive on‑site problem‑solving, schedule management, and negotiation skills.
