Job summary

VitaHealth Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated Senior Executive, ESG & Sustainability to drive the group’s ESG agenda and sustainability initiatives across functions.

You will collect and analyze sustainability data, monitor performance indicators, and support reporting and disclosures in accordance with ESG frameworks. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of ESG, sustainability, corporate affairs, or related experience.
• Knowledge of ESG principles and reporting standards.
• Experience in ESG disclosures is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Executive, ESG & Sustainability to support the Group/ Company's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) agenda and sustainability initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with stakeholders across various functions to drive ESG programmes, collect and analyse sustainability data, monitor ESG performance indicators, and support sustainability reporting and disclosures.

This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about sustainability, possesses strong project coordination skills, and can effectively engage stakeholders across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

1. ESG Strategy & Programme Management

Support the development and implementation of the Group/ Company's ESG and sustainability roadmap.

Coordinate ESG initiatives and projects across departments to achieve the Company's sustainability objectives.

Monitor ESG performance metrics and sustainability targets.

Promote ESG awareness and foster a culture of sustainability throughout the organisation.

2. Sustainability Reporting & ESG Disclosures

Collect, consolidate and verify ESG-related data from various business units.

Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, annual reports and ESG disclosures.

Support compliance with Australia Securities Exchange (ASX) Sustainability Reporting requirements and other relevant ESG frameworks and standards.

Maintain ESG records, documentation and reporting databases.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Liaise with internal stakeholders to facilitate ESG data collection and implementation of sustainability initiatives.

Coordinate responses to ESG-related questionnaires, assessments and requests from customers, investors, business partners and other stakeholders.

Support ESG communication, awareness campaigns and employee engagement programmes.

Assist in preparing ESG-related presentation materials, reports and briefing papers for Management.

4. Governance & Compliance

Support the implementation and review of ESG-related policies, procedures and governance frameworks.

Monitor developments in ESG regulations, reporting standards and industry best practices.

Assist in identifying, assessing and monitoring ESG-related risks and opportunities.

5. Other Responsibilities

Support Corporate Relations initiatives and projects as assigned.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Corporate Governance, Business Administration, Finance, Communications, Public Relations, or other related disciplines.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate affairs, corporate communications, compliance, governance, risk management, investor relations or related fields.

Knowledge of ESG principles, sustainability reporting standards and regulatory requirements.

Experience in sustainability reporting and ESG disclosures will be an added advantage.

Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
