Job summary

Mah Sing Group Berhad, listed on Bursa Malaysia, seeks a Sustainability & ESG Senior Executive to support planning, monitoring, and reporting across the Group. You will assist in governance, compliance, and data integrity to enhance stakeholder value.

Responsibilities include executing sustainability strategies, collecting ESG data, and preparing the annual Sustainability Report, while ensuring adherence to GRI, Bursa Malaysia, and IFRS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Sustainability/ ESG/ Corporate Reporting.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (GRI, Bursa Malaysia requirements, IFRS Sustainability Standards, etc.) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Good report writing and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Job description

Support preparation of the annual Sustainability Report

Assist in collecting, analysing, and verifying ESG data

Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability reporting frameworks and guidelines (e.g., Bursa Malaysia, GRI, IFRS S1 & S2, etc.)

Support ESG ratings submissions and sustainability-related awards

Data Monitoring & Governance

Conduct periodic data reviews and validation checks

Monitor ESG data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness

Maintain sustainability data tracking and reporting systems

Assist in improving data governance processes

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

Prepare sustainability materials for internal and external stakeholders

Support sustainability awareness programmes and initiatives

Coordinate responses to sustainability-related surveys and disclosures

Administrative & Documentation Support

Maintain sustainability documentation and records

Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and presentation materials

Support corporate governance documentation related to sustainability initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, or related discipline

2–5 years of relevant experience in Sustainability / ESG / Corporate Reporting (Senior Executive level preferred for more experienced candidates)

Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (GRI, Bursa Malaysia requirements, IFRS Sustainability Standards, etc.) is an advantage

Strong analytical and data management skills

Good report writing and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Detail-oriented and able to work independently
