About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Executive, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of ESG and sustainability strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives. You will play an important role in driving ESG initiatives, monitoring sustainability performance and supporting the company’s sustainability reporting and stakeholder engagement activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

ESG Strategy & Sustainability

• Develop and implement ESG and sustainability strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
• Monitor ESG trends, regulations and industry standards to ensure alignment with relevant requirements and best practices.
• Support the integration of ESG and sustainability considerations into business initiatives and practices.

ESG Reporting & Disclosure

• Lead the preparation and publication of the annual Sustainability Report, ensuring accuracy, transparency and alignment with relevant reporting standards.
• Monitor ESG disclosure requirements and ensure relevant information is properly documented and reported.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather, validate and consolidate ESG-related data and information.

ESG Performance & Carbon Management

• Monitor and track ESG performance through internal metrics, dashboards and reporting tools.
• Develop and maintain carbon management dashboards to monitor and manage the company’s carbon-related performance.
• Analyse ESG data and trends to identify areas for improvement and support informed decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage engagement with employees, regulators, industry groups, NGOs and other external stakeholders on ESG and sustainability matters.
• Coordinate ESG-related initiatives, enquiries and requests, acting as a key point of contact for ESG matters.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders to support the company’s ESG objectives.

ESG Initiatives & Partnerships

• Coordinate and support the implementation of ESG and sustainability initiatives across the organisation.
• Build strategic partnerships with relevant organisations to support the company’s ESG and sustainability goals.
• Monitor industry developments and identify opportunities to strengthen the company’s ESG practices and initiatives.

Other Responsibilities

• Handle other ESG and sustainability-related matters and assignments as required by the superior.

What We’re Looking For

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Management or other relevant disciplines.

Experience

• 3 - 5 years of working experience in ESG, sustainability or related areas.
• Candidates with relevant experience in ESG reporting, sustainability initiatives or corporate sustainability are preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of ESG frameworks, reporting standards and relevant regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement and project coordination skills.
• Good understanding of ESG data, trends, disclosure requirements and industry practices.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple ESG-related activities.
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability, social impact and corporate responsibility.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Language Requirements

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
