Job summary

Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) seeks a proactive Senior Executive, Alumni Engagement to strengthen the alumni network and build connections with students, industry partners, and the University. You will drive structured engagement initiatives, manage AMS data, and create opportunities for graduate employability and industry collaboration.

You will work with faculties, Career Services, and Industry Engagement teams to connect alumni with internships, talks, and job

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, mass communication, corporate communication or related field.
• 2–4 years in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement or related area.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple programmes and priorities.
• Comfortable analyzing data, reporting and engagement metrics.
• Collaborative team player with interest in alumni and student success.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Senior Executive, Alumni Engagement to strengthen our alumni network and build meaningful connections between alumni, students, industry partners, and the University. This role will be responsible for driving structured alumni engagement initiatives, managing alumni data and systems, and creating opportunities for alumni to contribute to graduate employability, industry collaboration, and the University's reputation and institutional goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement alumni engagement initiatives aligned with the University's strategic objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, including senior professionals, industry leaders, and key influencers.
• Plan and execute alumni programmes such as mentorship programmes, networking sessions, professional events, annual gatherings, and regional or international outreach.
• Manage and maintain the Alumni Management System (AMS), ensuring alumni information is accurate, complete, and regularly updated.
• Segment and analyse alumni data to support targeted engagement campaigns and initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculties, Career Services, and Industry Engagement teams to connect alumni with internship and employment opportunities, career talks, recruitment activities, curriculum input, and industry advisory initiatives.
• Engage employers, industry partners, professional bodies, alumni associations, and other external stakeholders to develop meaningful collaborations.
• Support alumni and employer engagement initiatives that contribute to institutional performance indicators, including QS Employer Reputation and SETARA.
• Monitor alumni engagement and programme effectiveness through dashboards, reports, and relevant KPIs.
• Support employability-related initiatives including graduate tracer studies, data analytics, accreditation and institutional reporting.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Management, Mass Communication, Corporate Communication, International Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement, corporate relations, industry partnerships, community engagement, or a related area.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Good programme, project, or event management capabilities.
• Ability to engage confidently with different levels of stakeholders, including senior professionals and industry representatives.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver programmes effectively.
• Comfortable working with data, reporting, performance indicators, and engagement metrics.
• Proactive, resourceful, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• A collaborative team player with a strong interest in alumni, student, and graduate success.

CUCMS is located within Cyberjaya and built on 5.54 acres plot of land with the total area of modern architectural structures building of 200, 000 sq.ft. CUCMS operated from its main campus located at Jalan Teknokrat 3 as the main campus that can accomodate 2500 students.
