Job summary

SIME DARBY INDUSTRIAL SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead and deliver Oil and Gas projects. You will manage the project management team and project execution to meet budget and schedule. You will ensure customer satisfaction and maintain safety across all activities.

You will also lead the engineering team, recruit and develop staff, and continuously update knowledge to support project success and company growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in Power Systems or related business with knowledge in electrical power engineering, rotating equipment, instruments and controls, materials, fabrication methods / procedures, heat transfer, noise control, NDT and related power generation topics.
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Good command of English and effective writing and presentation capabilities.

Accountable for the safety of engineering personnel and provision of a safe workplace, including the production of Risk Assessments and safe systems of work

Lead and motivate a team of engineers to continuously improve professionalism for self and department productivity. Recruit and develop candidates to meet the needs of the company.

Continuously update knowledge of company and related products and activities for effective job performance.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.

Minimum 5-7 years experience in Power Systems or related business with relevant knowledge in areas of electrical power engineering, rotating equipment, instruments and controls, materials, fabrication methods / procedures, heat transfer, noise control, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and relevant subjects related to power generation and project management

Good communication skills, both written and spoken.

Good command of English and possess effective writing skills and presentation capabilities
