Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.
- 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in mechanical or electrical engineering consulting or design.
- PE status or equivalent qualification (or working towards it).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM, CATIA, SolidWorks or similar CAD/CAM tools.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles across mechanical and electrical systems and project management.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee mechanical and electrical engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Perform detailed mechanical and electrical design, analysis, and calculations using industry-standard software and methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation for client deliverables.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and value engineering assessments for proposed engineering solutions.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, authorities and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical advice, and resolve project challenges.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and engineering staff, providing guidance on technical matters and professional development.
- Review and quality-assure work produced by team members to maintain professional standards and compliance with regulations.
- Contribute to proposal development and tender submissions, demonstrating technical expertise and project delivery capability.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements on all projects.

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our growing team at our Subang Jaya, Selangor office on a full-time basis. In this strategic role, you will take on significant responsibility for leading mechanical and electrical engineering projects and mentoring junior team members. As a Senior Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving technical excellence, ensuring project delivery meets the highest standards, and contributing to the firm's continued growth and reputation within the mechanical and electrical engineering sector. - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised institution
- Minimum 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in mechanical or electrical engineering consulting or design
- Professional Engineer (PE) status or equivalent professional qualification (or working towards it)
- Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical and electrical design software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar CAD/CAM tools is advantages.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, including External & Internal Telecommunication Infrastructure Services, ACMV, Liquefied Petroleum Gas/Natural Gas Piping Infrastructure, Lift/ Escalator system, Internet Service Provider, structural analysis, and materials science
- Experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, fee proposal and resource allocation
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and mentoring junior staff
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative engineering solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of relevant Malaysian and international engineering standards and building codes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools
