Job summary

SkyGate Integration Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Electronic & Electrical Engineer to support electrical assembly activities, including wiring, power distribution, control panels, sensors, motors and safety devices.

You will develop and maintain wiring diagrams and WI for production, and provide engineering support throughout testing and commissioning. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and have hands-on experience in electrical assembly/manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring practices and control systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and functional failures.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical assembly activities including wiring, power distribution, control panels, sensors, motors and safety devices.
• Develop, review, and maintain wiring diagrams, schematics and WI for production use.
• Provide engineering support to the production line during electrical assembly, testing and commissioning.
• Perform electrical and functional failure troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Lead or support reverse engineering when drawings or documentation are unavailable.
• Standardize wiring routes, harness dressing and installation methods for quality and consistency.
• Create and maintain electrical BOMs including cables, connectors and components.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Process, Test and Production teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Support NPI, pilot runs and mass production activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

Support electrical assembly activities, including wiring, power distribution, control panels, sensors, motors, and safety devices

Develop, review, and maintain electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and wiring Work Instructions (WI) for production use

Provide engineering support to the production line during electrical assembly, testing, and commissioning

Perform electrical and functional failure troubleshooting and root cause analysis during assembly, testing, and repair activities

Lead or support reverse engineering activities based on physical units when drawings or documentation are unavailable

Define, standardize, and continuously improve wiring routes, harness dressing, and installation methods to ensure quality and consistency

Create and maintain electrical BOMs, including cable, connector, and component level structures

Collaborate with Mechanical, Process, Test and Production teams to resolve cross-functional issues

Support NPI, pilot runs, and mass production activities

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, internal procedures, and customer requirements

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related field

Experience in an electrical assembly or manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of electrical wiring practices, control systems, and safety standards

Hands-on troubleshooting skills for electrical and functional failures

Ability to create, read, and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics

Familiar with BOM structures, WI documentation, and manufacturing processes
