Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking an Assembly Technician to support electronics and electro-mechanical assembly for semiconductor and industrial equipment. You will read BOMs, engineering drawings and schematics, and perform wiring and assembly of electrical boards using basic tools.

Open to entry-level to mid-level candidates with studies in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics. Hands-on manufacturing experience is a plus. Must be willing to rotate shifts; location: Pasir Gudang, Malaysia.

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, electrical or electronics encouraged.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Read BOMs, engineering drawings and schematics, including electrical diagrams.
• Perform electrical wiring and assembly of electrical boards using hand tools.
• Inspect components, identify defects or abnormalities and escalate issues.
• Support production activities: assembly, inspection, labeling, kitting, packaging.
• Follow work instructions, BOMs, safety procedures, cleanroom, ESD and PPE requirements, maintain production records.

Assemble and support the build of mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical components for semiconductor and industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities

Read and understand Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering drawings, electrical diagrams and schematics, including positive/negative connections, earth/ground and basic electrical fundamentals

Perform electrical wiring and assembly of electrical boards / power boards using hand tools, torque tools and basic measuring equipment

Carry out inspection and checking of components/products, identify defects or abnormalities and escalate issues when required

Support various production activities including assembly, inspection, labelling, kitting and packaging

Follow work instructions, BOMs, safety procedures and cleanroom, ESD and mandatory smock / PPE requirements, while maintaining accurate production records

About you

Open to entry-level to mid-level candidates

Relevant studies in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering will be an advantage

Candidates with hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, electrical or electronics are also encouraged to apply

Must be willing to work rotating shifts
