Stratus Automation Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Control System) to design, develop and commission automated control solutions for complex manufacturing systems.

You will program PLCs, create electrical schematics, and develop HMI interfaces while supporting service and installation teams on site. Willingness to travel internationally is required.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Mechatronic/Robotic/Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years related experience in electrical and control systems.
• Proficient in PLC programming; knowledge of C/C++ is a plus.
• Familiar with CE, UL, SEMI certification requirements for machines.
• Experience with SQL Server, Asp.Net and MS SQL queries.
• Willing to travel internationally and be based in Bayan Lepas.

Responsabilidades

• Perform PLC programming based on project requirements.
• Conduct on-site project commissioning and support service and installation teams.
• Design electrical schematic diagrams using DraftSight and SolidWorks Electrical; generate related BOMs.
• Program motion controllers for multi-axis robotic systems.
• Develop HMI programs and troubleshoot control systems.
• Prepare documentation for CE, UL and SEMI certification processes.
• Handle projects independently and identify risks while iterating to solutions.
• Perform documentation and record-keeping.

Senior Electrical Engineer (Control System)

Perform PLC programming based on specific project requirements.

Conduct on-site project commissioning and provide support to service and installation teams.

Design electrical schematic diagrams using DraftSight and Solidworks Electrical and generate related BOMs.

Program motion controllers using structured text and Ladder Diagram for multi-axis robotic systems.

Develop HMI program.

Troubleshoot and analyze existing control programs to optimize performance.

Prepare documentation required for CE, UL and SEMI certification processes.

Handle project independently and identify risks while working towards solutions with brainstorming.

Perform documentation.

Job Requirement

Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Robotic Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years related working experience.

Experience in electrical and control system engineering.

Proficient in PLC programming. Knowledge in C++, C# will be added advantages.

Strong understanding of electrical components and robotics.

Familiar with CE, UL, SEMI certification requirements for machines.

Familiar with SQL serer, Asp.Net and MS SQL queries

Experience with MPLAB, STM32Cube IDE and motion control systems.

Willing to travel internationally for customer site support.

Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang
