Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Senior Director, Business Development to lead and scale a high-performing sales team in cybersecurity advisory services. You will mentor account executives, drive new logo acquisition, and expand wallet share across regional enterprise sectors.

The role requires 8–12+ years of B2B sales and strong experience translating complex cybersecurity offerings into business outcomes for enterprise clients. Primers in RFPs/SOWs and executive-facing proposals are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive B2B sales and business development experience in IT services, cybersecurity consulting, risk advisory, or managed technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team; upskill and coach account executives from diverse or non-technical backgrounds to master technical solution selling.
• Design and execute commercial strategies to penetrate key regional enterprise sectors, drive new logo acquisition, and grow wallet share within existing accounts.
• Engage C-suite and senior decision-makers (CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, Risk & Compliance Heads) with consultative, value-driven solution proposals.
• Partner with Practice Heads and technical teams to craft competitive bids, scopes of work (SOWs), and formal enterprise proposals (RFP/RFI).
• Oversee sales pipelines, forecasting, deal structuring, and contract negotiations; work with Finance to support accurate billing and healthy cash flow cycles.
• Represent the organisation at executive round tables, conferences, and cybersecurity industry events to enhance brand awareness and channel development.
