Job summary

AMD’s Radeon Technologies Group in Penang, Malaysia seeks a DFx Verification Engineer to verify DFT/DFD architectures and enable first-pass silicon success. You’ll collaborate with architecture, IP design, physical design teams, and firmware engineers to verify new features and build robust test plans for cutting-edge AMD products.

Required are 8+ years in DFT verification, strong SystemVerilog/UVM expertise, and advanced scripting skills, with a Bachelors or Masters in computer or electrical

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DFT Design Verification with strong debug capabilities.
• Proficient in SystemVerilog/UVM testbench development for complex SoCs.
• Advanced scripting skills (Python, Perl) for automation and testbench infra.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and verification of DFT architecture and features.
• Collaborate with architects, design engineers, and firmware engineers to verify new DFT features.
• Estimate time to write new feature tests and test environment changes.
• Build directed and random DFT verification tests.
• Debug test failures with RTL/DFT and firmware teams to resolve defects.
• Enhance legacy DFT test plans for new Debug features.
• Reproduce post-silicon failures in pre-silicon environments.
• Conduct silicon debug and root cause analysis with minimal logging support.
• Utilize JTAG protocols for debugging and validation.
