Job summary

Myra is seeking a Project Manager to support planning, development, construction, and handover of multiple property projects in Selangor. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources, working with architects, engineers, contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance and timely approvals.

The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience in property or construction and strong software skills (AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Project). Travel to sites and authorities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within property development or construction-related projects.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in project-related software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Project, and other relevant tools.
• Willingness to travel to authorities, project sites and other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction quality standards.

Job description

Support the Project Manager in overseeing development projects from planning and development through construction and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor project activities, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution within the approved budget and schedule
• Develop and implement detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder requirements
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure that design and construction work comply with specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
• Manage the preparation, review, and submission of plans (e.g., layout plans, infrastructure plans, building plans) to relevant authorities for approval
• Conduct thorough checks on other related drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with approved designs
• Liaise with government agencies and local authorities for local zoning, building regulations and other compliance matters during planning, development and completion stage
• Follow up closely on project submissions and approval processes
• Assist to oversee all development budgets based on approved feasibility studies
• Monitor project costs and track expenditures to avoid cost overruns
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure construction quality standards are met

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within property development or construction-related projects
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
