Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture or related disciplines, 8–12 years of property development or project management experience, and a strong track record in managing complex development projects.

Job Overview

Working closely with internal stakeholders, project consultants, contractors and relevant authorities, the Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of our projects from pre-development and master planning through construction, completion and post-development in accordance with approved plans, design intent, quality standards, budget, programme and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end development process, covering pre-development, planning, design, construction, completion and post-development activities.

Provide input into master planning, development planning and project feasibility, including coordination of design, technical and development requirements.

Review project plans, development proposals and design concepts to ensure alignment with the Company's development objectives and requirements.

Review and coordinate project drawings, details, building materials, finishes and technical specifications to ensure compliance with approved design and quality requirements.

Monitor consultants and contractors’ performance, deliverables and coordination to ensure timely communication and resolution of design, construction or technical issues.

Conduct regular site inspections overseeing the monitoring of day-to-day construction progress, workmanship, quality, site safety and activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, project requirements and timelines.

Drive effective cost, quality and schedule control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines and required quality standards.

Proactively identify project risks, constraints, potential delays and where required, escalating critical issues with clear recommendations of appropriate mitigation measures and recovery plans to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Architecture is preferred. Degrees in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or other relevant disciplines will also be considered.

Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in property development, construction or project management, with substantial experience in managing property development projects.

Demonstrated experience in project planning including the end-to-end development and construction process, from pre-development and design through construction, completion and handover.

Strong understanding of architectural design, construction methodologies, building materials, specifications, workmanship and quality control.

Strong working knowledge of construction drawings, technical specifications, building standards and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Experience in managing project risks, resolving technical and construction issues and driving projects towards timely completion.

Experience in obtaining and coordinating statutory approvals and liaising with relevant authorities would be an advantage.

Proven experience and ability to work independently while collaborating and coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams including managing various internal as well as external project stakeholders.
