Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Centre Technician to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server, storage, networking, and AI computing infrastructure in a fast-paced data centre environment.

You will work with engineering teams to support cloud, AI, and HPC environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and safety. The role involves rotating shifts and on-call duties, with a strong focus on process discipline and customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment.
• Participate in installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware and software.
• Execute basic troubleshooting along with triaging incoming incidents in support of DC operations.
• Communicate confidently and clearly with all stakeholders.
• Maintain strong adherence to processes and contribute to process improvements.
• Understand internal customer problems and deliver timely technical solutions.
• Work on a rotating shift basis, including on-call.
• Background in Linux.
• Knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling).

Responsibilities

Are you a Data Centre Technician with experience spanning racking and stacking, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of critical infrastructure?

Interested in supporting next-generation cloud, AI, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments while working on mission-critical projects?

An Oracle Data Centre Technician serves as the technical liaison between engineering teams and the Data Centre environment. You will be responsible for supporting cloud, AI, GPU, and HPC infrastructure while ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and operational excellence.

You will install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and decommission server, storage, networking, and AI computing infrastructure. Working closely with senior technicians and engineering teams, you will support large-scale GPU deployments, high-density rack environments, and next-generation data centre technologies.

Attention to detail, operational discipline, and a strong commitment to safety and quality are critical for success in this role.
