Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Centre Technician to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server, storage, networking, and AI computing infrastructure in a fast-paced data centre environment.

You will work with engineering teams to support cloud, AI, and HPC environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and safety. The role involves rotating shifts and on-call duties, with a strong focus on process discipline and customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment.
• Participate in installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware and software.
• Execute basic troubleshooting along with triaging incoming incidents in support of DC operations.
• Communicate confidently and clearly with all stakeholders.
• Maintain strong adherence to processes and contribute to process improvements.
• Understand internal customer problems and deliver timely technical solutions.
• Work on a rotating shift basis, including on-call.
• Background in Linux.
• Knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and decommission server, storage, networking, and AI computing infrastructure.
• Work closely with senior technicians and engineering teams to support large-scale GPU deployments and high-density rack environments.
• Support cloud, AI, and HPC infrastructure to ensure availability and performance.
