Oracle Corporation Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru seeks a Senior Data Center Operations Lead to deliver reliable, scalable data center services and act as the on-site escalation point for complex hardware issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience supporting data center hardware in a live, mission-critical environment.
  • Experience racking, stacking, installing, upgrading, replacing, and decommissioning servers, storage, network equipment, PDUs, and related infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with structured cabling, including copper and fiber installation, labeling, testing, troubleshooting, and cable management.
  • Demonstrated hardware troubleshooting and break/fix skills across servers, storage, network devices, and associated components.
  • Ability to diagnose hardware faults, complete repairs or component replacements, and coordinate with vendors when required.
  • Knowledge of ESD controls, safe lifting practices, physical security requirements, and data center safety standards.
  • Experience following approved change procedures, SOPs, and MOPs, with accurate documentation of work completed.

  • Mentor and develop data center technicians, sharing technical expertise and reinforcing safe, high-quality operational practices.

Job description

Lead the delivery of reliable, resilient, and scalable data center operations.
