Oracle in Johor Bahru seeks a Data Center Technician for a fully onsite role, handling servers, networking gear, cabling and other hardware to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The role welcomes experience in data centers, networking or IT infrastructure, with hands-on hardware work and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT hardware, networking, infrastructure support, technical support or data center operations.

• Basic Linux knowledge is an advantage.

We are looking for a Data Center Technician to join our team in Johor Bahru.

This is a fully onsite, hands‑on role. You will work with servers, network equipment, cabling and other hardware in our data center supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Previous data center experience is welcome, but it is not required. We are also interested in candidates with experience in networking, IT infrastructure, hardware support or other technical roles who would like to learn and develop in a data center environment.

What will you do?

• Install, move and replace servers and other IT equipment.

• Able to work in a 24/7 shift rotation, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

• Screening call – an initial conversation about your experience, motivation and the role with talent advisor.
• Technical interview – a 1:1 interview with one of our engineers to discuss your technical knowledge and experience.
• Hiring Manager interview – a final conversation with the manager about the role and the team.
