Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Limited is seeking a Cluster Ops Manager to oversee multiple data centres in a designated cluster from Johor Bahru. You will manage 24/7 operations, drive uptime, and lead a team of operations and technical staff to meet SLAs and safety standards.

Reporting to the Campus Operations Director, you will coordinate maintenance, vendor activities, and strategic initiatives to support growth and service excellence. Fluent English and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or related field.
• 7–10 years in data centre operations.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure (power, cooling, network).
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and 24/7 operations.
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills.
• Certifications such as CDCP or CDCS are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple data centres within the cluster.
• Ensure 24/7 uptime and SLA compliance with customers.
• Lead and develop operations and technical staff.
• Plan maintenance, incidents, and vendor coordination.
• Maintains safety, compliance, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Campus Director on strategic initiatives.
