Job summary

DayOne is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of data center construction projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget control while maintaining top-quality standards. You will manage multidisciplinary teams across CSA, MEP, and specialty systems, coordinate with design consultants and vendors, and report progress to senior leaders.

The ideal candidate has 10–15+ years in construction project management, a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 10–15+ years of construction project management experience.
• Proven data center or mission-critical project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of data center construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee CSA, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and specialist systems installation.
• Coordinate with design consultants, general contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Ensure compliance with data center standards such as Uptime Institute Tier requirements and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Drive site progress, monitor milestones, and proactively resolve delays or issues.
• Lead risk management, change control, and value engineering initiatives.
• Oversee procurement strategy, contract administration, and cost control.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage testing and commissioning phases in collaboration with commissioning teams.
• Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and financials.
• Lead project closeout, documentation, and client handover.
