Job summary

DayOne, a global leader in data center development, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end construction projects in Asia-Pacific. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, schedules, and budgets to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and the highest quality standards.

You will coordinate with CSA, MEP, design consultants, and contractors, enforcing Uptime Institute Tier requirements and ASHRAE guidelines, while driving risk management and procurement strategy for successful project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 10-15+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of Electrical systems (UPS, generators, MV/LV).
• Strong understanding of Cooling systems (chillers, CRAH/CRAC, containment).

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of data center construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee CSA, MEP, and specialist systems installation.
• Coordinate with design consultants, general contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Ensure compliance with data center standards such as Uptime Institute Tier requirements and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Drive site progress, monitor milestones, and resolve delays or issues.
• Lead risk management, change control, and value engineering initiatives.
• Oversee procurement strategy, contract administration, and cost control.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met.
• Manage testing and commissioning phases with commissioning teams.
• Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and financials.
• Lead project closeout, documentation, and client handover.
