Job summary

DayOne is seeking a skilled project leader to drive end-to-end integration of new data centre capacity across its global operations. The role focuses on delivering on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards, working with design, construction, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data centre operations with a strong grasp of capacity planning, QA, and regulatory compliance, plus PMP or PRINCE2 credentials and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of data centre operations experience with capacity planning and integration.
• Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration projects for new data centre capacity.
• Collaborate with capacity planning to understand future requirements.
• Coordinate design, construction and operations for seamless integration.
• Develop operational readiness plans including testing and training.
• Maintain QA processes to meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks and create mitigation strategies.
• Provide status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
