Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to serve as the on-site guardian of health, safety, and environmental compliance during the construction of a large-scale data center.

You will ensure that civil works and MEP fit-out adhere to local regulations, corporate EHS standards, and OSHA/ISO guidelines to strive for a zero-incident workplace. You will lead safety programs, conduct site walkthroughs, coordinate with GC and subcontractors, and deliver site-specific training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience.
• Experience in large-scale construction, preferably data centers, oil & gas, or semiconductor fabs.
• Experience managing EHS during high-voltage electrical installations (33kV/132kV) is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s or diploma in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce the project EHS plan and safety programs; conduct daily site walkthroughs and safety audits.
• Lead high-hazard permits (Confined Space Entry, Hot Work, LOTO) and monitor subcontractor compliance.
• Manage incident reporting; conduct root-cause investigations and track corrective actions.
• Develop site orientations and toolbox talks; ensure workers hold valid qualifications.
• Monitor environmental controls; oversee waste management and noise/dust measures.
