Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced Operations leader to oversee custody services, including client service management, transaction processing, and risk reporting. You will define scalable frameworks, drive continuous improvements, and manage offshore teams to deliver high-quality service for local BAM clients.

The role requires strong governance, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support new client onboarding and revenue retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Banking/Finance/IT or equivalent.
• Experience in Securities Services/Market Operations is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, implement, and maintain scalable custody operational frameworks.
• Drive quality improvement and automation across custody.
• Lead offshore outsourcing team and empower higher responsibilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless, scalable operations.
• Drive onboarding of new clients, products, and services.
• Manage and process custody transactions with error resolution.
• Monitor risk reporting and regulatory compliance.
