Job summary

Sourceo Pte Ltd is seeking a Principal CRM Engineer to define and evolve the architecture of StarHub’s CRM/OM platforms, enabling scalable customer onboarding, sales journeys, and fulfilment in a DevOps environment.

The role focuses on building a resilient, future-ready CRM/OM platform, driving platform modernization, and guiding engineering teams to scale sustainably while ensuring end-to-end customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering with emphasis on large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience designing and operating enterprise platforms within CRM/OM or telecom BSS/OSS domains.
• Deep architectural expertise across microservices, API design, workflow orchestration, and data architecture.
• Hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs; PostgreSQL/Oracle; Kubernetes and AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end architecture of CRM/OM platforms across Customer Management, Product Catalogue, Campaigns, Order Management, and Revenue/Billing integration.
• Establish architectural principles and standards for microservices, API design, workflow orchestration, and data management across CRM/OM domains.
• Design and optimize workflow orchestration strategies for order lifecycle processes, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
• Drive platform scalability and performance by identifying bottlenecks across APIs, databases, and workflows.
• Define and govern data architecture to ensure consistency, integrity, and efficient data flow across CRM, provisioning, and billing systems.
• Establish API and integration standards, including versioning and idempotency for internal/external integrations.
• Lead platform modernization initiatives, including cloud-native migrations from legacy CRM systems.
• Reduce technical debt by driving modularization, decoupling, and standardization across services.
• Define observability and reliability strategies with monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to design scalable cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD, and IaC.
• Act as the technical authority for architecture reviews and alignment with business objectives.
• Mentor CRM Engineers on system design, architecture, and debugging techniques.
• Influence cross-functional teams to adopt engineering standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and vendors to ensure end-to-end customer journeys.
